Well the talk lately seems to be all about the snow and all of the wonderful snow activities that are out there to be enjoyed by people of all ages. In the break room at work today, a co working was telling of his up and coming vacation to Switzerland where they are going to stay at one of the apartments in Les Arc that they found a bargain on online.
The Les Arcs Accommodation are truly awesome. After dinner tonight I actually went online and did some looking around I am really impressed with the Le Village Arc 1950 that boasts 8 separate residences which are constructed of timber and stones that resemble a very quaint alpine design which as you well know is a big tradition in those areas.
I mean really, who wouldn’t want to stay at a place such as this? It looks just like a post card.

Sometimes I feel melancholy when I hear about the great adventures Jason is currently having, or planning. Don’t get me wrong, I’m really glad that he is having a great time with his life; he’s a good young man and deserves the best of everything. But when he came home for a short visit and raved about plans for his next trip it was a bittersweet feeling. He is planning to go with his ski club friends on a ski trip to Canada.
At first they weren’t sure which ski resort to go to, but they seem to have found some bargain priced Ski holidays in Whistler and are planning to take advantage of it. Jason told me that he went online and found some discount whistler lift passes that they could buy and now all they have to do is choose which ski accommodation in Whistler package they want to buy.
Looking at the website Jason showed me about Whistler, I was reminded that Whistler was the site of the Winter Olympics in 2010. What a fantastic trip it would be to go there! I’m wishing that I was young and fit as a fiddle again so I could go skiing with him. What a great time he will have with his ski club when they go there!

There just never seems to be enough storage room outside to protect everything from the elements. I have a lot of items outside; from tractors to lawn mowers to a jet ski (which I know gets wet anyway, but I want to protect it from the sun) to an old pickup that I’m trying to restore.
Also, if I want to change the oil or work on something and not clutter up the garage for 2 or 3 weeks, I can put it in there and work on it when I get a chance. So, I want to get a carport. Carports come in many sizes and shapes and I want to make sure that I get one that is big enough to put everything underneath there that I want to.
I’ve measured 2 or 3 of them and just when I thought it was the right size I found out that by putting 2 or 3 of the items in there that I want, all of a sudden there’s no room for anything else! So I want to make sure that I get the right size the first time and not have to worry about it! I also want to install some lights in it.
