How is it that there have been so many recalls on products (such as Motrin) that I haven’t heard about them? And a lot of silent recalls on prescription drugs that no one hears about until they go to refill their prescription and are told that the product has been recalled and is no longer available? Wouldn’t you think that on prescriptions the doctors would have been given the recall notices and they would have immediately contacted their patients to tell them to stop taking them and given the patient an alternative prescription? What is up with that?
When we first moved to this area my wife had told me that she had read a newspaper article about how feral pigs are a problem in this county. I really thought she was joking! So far I haven’t actually seen any feral pigs around, but I was interested and surprised to turn on the television this morning and see a news story about how feral pigs are creating a lot of trouble for people in Florida! Part of the story included interviewing people who had property damage from the pigs and I tell you what, I would be really upset if I got up one morning and found my lawn completely ruined from a bunch of pigs rooting around for acorns! Note to self – don’t plant any oak trees in the yard!
There seems to be a lot of TV shows on that are about different types of Hoarders. The ones about the animal hoarding always seems to get me all choked up and emotional. I knew that there were people like that out there, but it seems that there are more than I would have ever imagined. I can only hope that these types of shows help some folks out there that are faced with issues just like this.
I was surprised when I found the videos on YouTube about fainting goats. I had never heard of them before! Here is a video clip of them. I have to wonder how in the world did they survive? Seems to me that they would be an easy kill for any natural predator out in the wild!
