Looks like one of my favorite casual wear clothing items is becoming fashionable this year. I have always loved flannel shirts and have worn them on chilly mornings even when they were not a fashion item.
This year I am seeing flannel for teens and kids, and it is being made by big name designers, such as Ralph Lauren and Tommy. The colors are fresh and bright and the price tags are a little high for my budget.
This year I’m going to get a couple new flannel shirts, but I think I’ll be OK sticking with either Tractor Supply or maybe L. L. Bean.

When you invest in a nice set of golf clubs and a nice golf bag, the next big purchase should be a top quality carrying case for them. I have never traveled with my golf clubs on a plane before, so that was not something that I thought was important – until now. With an upcoming trip to Myrtle Beach, I want to take my clubs with me and play at least two of their world famous golf courses while we are there.
Obviously I can’t pack them in my suitcase or carry them on the plane in just their golf bag. So I need to do some research today and see what carrying cases are road worthy and affordable. I wish I knew what the pros use. I don’t want to get suckered into buying something that is not worth the money and ends up cracking or breaking open due to rough handling at the airport.
