One good way to start a new business is to find a good franchise for sale and buy one for your area. Often times buying a franchise is a great way to become your own boss and own your own company, without having to invest quite so much elbow grease and money. I always have envied those people who have their own Burger King or Ruby Tuesday or Applebee’s franchise! I’d love to own a Longhorn Steakhouse or a Bob Evans!

They also have the advertising power of a large national corporation, so their advertising budget tends to be lower than starting a business from scratch. And as we all know, advertising a business is very important, and very expensive!
