Until I had my accident two years ago I had no idea how many different types of lawyers there really are. I just figured that a lawyer is a lawyer is a lawyer! I didn’t know the difference between a Medical Malpractice or a Wrongful Death attorney.
So I was unhappy when I found myself in the position of being in a new location (having just moved to this state) and trying to find a Personal Injury attorney to help me with my case. I didn’t even have enough friends to ask for a recommendation as to which attorney would be a “good one.”
Just my luck the attorney I hired was supposed to be a “good one” but only a couple of months after hiring him I lost him because he was given a position on the bench and got dumped onto one of his partners. Not very happy about that move I can tell you that! I don’t think he is aggressive enough and my wife and I are considering changing to a different one.
