Roads flooded
School was closed today because of flooded roads. It’s always a surprise to me when that happens; it happens a lot more frequently than I would have imagined. Growing up in New England, I’m relatively used to rivers flooding in the spring but that never closed the schools down. It just seems like the schools around here close a lot more often than I would imagine they should close. Seems to me that if the roads are flooded frequently that the department of transportation should do something to raise the road beds so that they don’t flood very often!
