Hayfever
As a kid I remember how badly my mother suffered from what they called, “hayfever.” She would sneeze repeatedly and uncontrollably day after day as an allergic reaction to pollen in the air. Her eyes would get red and swollen, her nose turned bright red and raw from using Kleenex hundreds of times each day. She was miserable with her allergies for many years until the medical community started finding effective allergy treatments.
