Happy New Year!
My wife and I went to a New Year’s Eve party last night, but we ended up coming home fairly early. We aren’t getting any younger, and it was hard to stay up that late. It’s a good thing we both took a nap earlier in the day! Yes, we stayed until midnight, but left pretty quickly afterwards. We had a good time, although we didn’t dance any dances except for a couple of slow dances because my back was bothering me. The wind was very strong and was pushing the car around on the road, which made my wife very nervous about being out in that – she was afraid we were going to blow right off of the road!
I got a phone call from my daughter today, wishing me a Happy New Year. It’s always good to hear from her.
I made a couple of resolutions, one being no fast food this year! My wife doesn’t think I’ll be able to keep that resolution for more than a couple of days! We’ll see about that!
