My mother needs to buy one of those mobility scooters that we keep seeing advertised on television. She is disabled and can’t walk more than about twenty steps before having to stop and rest. It is hard to take her anywhere because of her disability.

We had company over today and my wife kept asking me to help her do things around the house to get ready for the company. She didn’t seem to understand that it is important to me when company comes over that the lawn looks perfect. So, I think I was helping to get the house ready for company. Obviously she has different priorities than I do; after all I think they will be judging ME by how nice the lawn looks, and that is much more important to me than how they are judging HER by how clean the house is!
