I’d like to get a set of bunk beds

I’d like to get a set of bunk beds for the guest room; the kind that has a full sized bed AND a twin bed.  I’ve been shopping around on the Internet and found a site, www.bunk-beds-loft-beds.com that has a really good selection of bunk beds.

Their site is well designed, and easy to navigate around.  According to the E-Bay testimonials (I understand that E-Bay testimonials can’t be faked) that I’ve read, they are a good company to do business with, provide superior customer service, and that the bunk beds are easy to assemble.   Their website gives you a lot of information about the product (including the dimensions) that you are thinking about buying, so you can make an intelligent choice about the purchase.   The prices are reasonable, and they provide free shipping on their bunk bed packages!

Pope’s visit to the USA

Filed under: General Living — Copa @ 6:29 am

As we all knew would happen, there has been a lot of news coverage of the Pope visiting the United States.  The other day one of the news stories was giving some details about his background, and I was surprised to learn that the Pope speaks twenty different languages!  I imagine that was mentioned when he first became the Pope, but I had not remembered it.

My wife and I were talking about how the Pope is appointed to his position for life, and we have to wonder what happens if and when a man (who is appointed Pope) becomes senile, suffers from dementia, or is struck with Alzheimers.  Is he removed from office?  Chances are he won’t retire voluntarily!

My wife likes wearing unique jewelry

My wife loves to wear unique clothing and jewelry.  She is always on the lookout for things to wear that look good, but different than what everyone else around her is wearing.  I suppose that doing that makes her feel special.  She has never wanted to blend in with the crowd!  So, when it comes to buying her a gift at gift time, like Mother’s Day coming up, the kids and I go ”treasure hunting” for unique things to buy her.  She has a special fondness for handcrafted unique jewelry, so we usually focus on looking for that.  If we stick with buying her gifts like earrings, bracelets, and/or necklaces we are usually pretty safe in knowing that she won’t say “it doesn’t fit!”

My sister told me about a website that she found, www.zhenun.com that sells handcrafted jewelry that was created by a lady who grew up in the USA but has done a lot of travelling and she has been inspired in her creations by the exotic life she found in Thailand.  She has necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, and brooches in a variety of materials; gold, silver, rhodium plated silver,  and vermeil.  She also sells clothing and home accessories.
