Decorating the driveway
Over the last few years, I thought it was very cool to be driving along, looking at people’s dooryards and seeing lights down their driveways. As I researched this, I found out that these are kits that, with a little time and effort, can be installed quite easily and make your house look like we are rich (we aren’t!) I found out you can buy different types of kits, square lights, round lights, old fashioned, new “state of the art” or just plain lights that light up the dooryard.
These can be run by low voltage power or by solar power. I really wanted solar when I started researching but I found out that after a few years the solar panels fade out or just stop working and some of the lights don’t work, whereas with electricity the lights will always work. I have yet to install these kits in my dooryard, but I have bought the kits, and I hope to install them this summer. That ought to impress my wife some night when she comes home and sees the lights up and down the dooryard!
