My cousin came for a short visit

My cousin came over last night for supper.  I enjoy seeing him, we like to talk about cars, motorcycles, and NASCAR races.  We hope to go to a NASCAR race together sometime this summer.

He is a gym teacher at a local middle school.  He has been looking for easy middle school fundraisers  to raise money for the sports program at his school.  We told him to check out www.schoolpop.com for fundraising programs.

Schoolpop is an easy method to raise money for schools.  You get people to sign up for the schoolpop program, they register their credit or debit cards with schoolpop, and when they use their registered card at participating merchants, a portion of their purchase goes to the participating school.  They can use it at local stores, or to shop online!  It is easy to do and it does not cost the participants anything.

Pursuing a career in photography?

As I was saying, I’m thinking about pursuing a career in photography instead of going back to my old job.  My brother-in-law is also a photography enthusiast; he is constantly sending us emails with photos attached of things he’s seen.  He also goes to a lot of Mason functions and acts as their official photographer.  We’ve been discussing the possibility of us going into the business together.  He wants me to buy a new digital camera, and wants to help me pick out the best one.

He told me about an Internet Photography Forum from www.nobsphotosuccess.com that he has been participating in, to learn more about photography in general and about the business of photography. He has suggested that I join the Digital Photography Forum to learn more about digital photography, since I am a relative newcomer to that type of photography.

Their website at www.nobsphotosuccess.com also has links to photoshop tutorials, products, and articles about photography.

He said the forums were from No Bs Photo Success Photography.  He said that the forums are very user friendly.  He suggested that I also can learn a lot by joining their Inner Circle Forum.  So I guess I should check that out!
